God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. You've made mistakes in the past, you will probably make more in future, and that is okay. It's ok to be not ready to move on. Healing takes time. If you are comfortable dancing in public without alcohol or drugs, you are at peace with who you are. The best thing one can do when it is raining is let it rain. Stop beating yourself up for the past mistakes. You deserve your forgiveness. The past can't be changed, only accepted. Realize deeply that the present moment is all you will ever have. Muddy water is best cleared by leaving it alone. The only approval you need in life is your own.
