To see what is right, and not do it, is want of courage, or of principle. Clear conscience never fears midnight knocking. Good actions ennoble us, we are the sons of our own deeds. Live your life as though your every act were to become a universal law. If war is ever lawful, then peace is sometimes sinful. The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated. Right is right even if no one is doing it; wrong is wrong even if everyone is doing it. Faced with what is right, to leave it undone shows a lack of courage. The propagandist's purpose is to make one set of people forget that certain other sets of people are human. Do what is right, not what is easy nor what is popular.
