A winner knows how much he still has to learn, even when he is considered an expert by others. A loser wants to be considered an expert by others before he has learned enough to know how little he knows. When ignorance does not know something, it says that what it does not know is stupid. He that knows nothing knows enough if he knows how to be silent. No one is so open-handed as he who has nothing to give. He who wants a mule without fault may go afoot. Wisdom ceases to be wisdom when it becomes too proud to weep, too grave to laugh, and too selfish to seek other than itself. He who knows all the answers has not been asked all the questions. It is best for the wise man not to seem wise. God will not look you over for medals, degrees or diplomas but for scars. We have two ears and one mouth, so we should listen more than we say.
