When God says today, the devil says tomorrow. A man with a grain of faith in God never loses hope, because he ever believes in the ultimate triumph of Truth. In this world you've just got to hope for the best and prepare for the worst and take whatever God sends. Life grows darker as we go on until only one pure light is left shining on it; and that is faith. If we look closely at this world, where God seems so utterly forgotten, we shall find that it is he, who, after all, commands the most fidelity and the most love. If someone thinks you can help or heal them, and you think you can't, choose their faith over your doubt. In the long run no individual prospers beyond the measure of his faith. Let gratitude be the pillow upon which you kneel to say your nightly prayer. And let faith be the bridge you build to overcome evil and welcome good. We must be ready to allow ourselves to be interrupted by God. Blessed are those who need no reasons other than their love for the Savior to keep his commandments.
