The oldest, shortest words 'yes' and 'no' are those which requires the most thought. We have two ears and one mouth, so we should listen more than we say. The art of conversation is the art of hearing as well as of being heard. When people talk, listen completely. Most people never listen. Always say less than necessary. When you have something to say, silence is a lie. In anger we should refrain both from speech and action. Fine clothes may disguise, but silly words will disclose a fool. After all is said and done, more is said than done. Choose your words wisely. Words can be forgiven, but the impact they have may not be forgotten.
