Like all afflictions, they are, if we can so take them, our share in the passion of Christ. If you can't sleep, then get up and do something instead of lying there worrying. It's the worry that gets you, not the lack of sleep. Anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but only empties today of its strength. Worry gives a small thing a big shadow.
